holy crap New York City Municipal Archives Online Gallery has released 870,000 photos of new york city dating back to the mid-1800s. Its kind of crazy, some are photos of buildings (Every New York City building in the mid-1980s can be viewed in this collection) but there’s also a lot of crime scene photos its just insane/awesome.

22 – Mawson Lakes, South Australia
The theme for this route was to “Summer”, but on the other side of the world here we were in the middle of Winter.
The day I wanted to start the route it was pouring with rain, so I thought I’d buy a “water proof” camera. Ha ha.
I was out at the Mawson Lakes campus of UniSA (University of South Austalia) and it had rained so much that the roads were flooded. The clouds parted just long enough for me to take this shot.

21 – Adelaide, South Australia
In the Summer time these trees would be bright and full of leaves and flowers. Today though, it’s all gloom and doom.
Although the water damage looks like stars in the night sky, this shot was taken in the middle of the day with sun directly behind the tree.

20 – Adelaide, South Australia
This was a shot of some angry, stormy clouds… but I guess they must have just had a case of the measles.

19 – Adelaide, South Australia
The Night Train Theatre Restaurant sign was an Adelaide icon, which had adorned the West End skyline for as long as anyone can remember.
I just had to take this shot which looked to me like a vampire sizzling in the sun. Little did I know that this was an omen of the theatre’s demise, and within a week of taking this shot the sign was ripped down and replaced with a god-awful community mural. We miss you buddy!

Travelling camera club route 5.5!
Route 5.5
Elbeardo2007 a.k.a Daniel (Australia)
Micah (USA Illinois)
Jeanette (USA Massachusetts)
Rik a.k.a Crrack TheSkye (Belgium)
This camera has litterally been all over the world, travelling from austrila through the USA to Belgium before making it to the UK to be printed!
The photos have a strange effect to them because the person who bought the camera purchased a water proof camera that wasnt that water proof, but I think thats what makes these photos so special.
Thank you guys and girl for making this possible!

Rods and Cones magazine by our very own Emily!
Check out rods and cpones magagzine by our very own Emily, she was kind enough to do a massive feature on the project! She really worked hard on the magazine and it turned out amazingly!
I really loved the poem that was written about one of our photos!
